i was an artist in a twelve member committee tasked with designing the mit class ring for the class of 2026. over the course of a year, the twelve of us worked together to design the six sides of the 'brass rat' (a colloquial nickname for the mit class ring) and host events to premiere and deliver the rings to our class of 1100+ students. my role consisted of designing part of the bezel, the class and seal shank, and the hacker's map, as well as creating promotional materials, website assets, merch designs, and more.
